With over 28 years of experience as a music minister, Michael R. Minor has dedicated his life to sharing the power of music and faith. Most recently, he served as the Minister of Music/Pastor of Worship at West Point Church in Hattiesburg, MS, from 1999 to 2020. During this time, he was ordained into music ministry as a Worship Pastor by Sr. Pastor Marcus Cathey, solidifying his leadership role in the church’s music ministry.

In addition to his work in church ministry, Michael co-founded GospelVocalParts.com, a subscription-based platform designed to support musicians and music ministers. Along with his business partner, Barry Bolden, and their team, Michael has helped provide a valuable resource for choirs by offering nearly exact vocal parts to popular and requested Gospel songs, making it easier for music ministers to teach vocal harmony.

Michael’s extensive background and passion for music have shaped his current endeavor, Minor Yet Major Enterprises, where he offers beginner piano lessons and educational music content to individuals of all ages. Through his teachings, Michael remains committed to helping others connect with music in a meaningful and personal way.
